 |

Evening all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me...
I've just bought a bike off a colleague at work, it's an '07 plate MZ 125 SM, which i'm fairly confident no one will have heard of. It's basically a 4-stroke, 125cc supermoto type jobby.
However, its got 9500km on the clock, and has been seriously unloved, living outside under cover for the past 6 months, and hasnt been started for at least 3 months.
Happily enough after changing the battery it started first try (electric start, no kick) but I thought i'd better wait for a test ride until some servicing gets done.
So my question is, what work do I need to do to the bike? I know I definitely need to change the oil, fresh fuel, check the brakes, lubricate moving parts etc, but is there a definitive list of things to do?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers, Shake |

Flat spots on the tires would be a guess if it hasn't been moved for a while. Other than that. Just make sure it stops alright and fresh fluids all round.

ive heard of them, and vmaxdude (funmonkee) used to have one pre mz baggy days, they are good bikes and the only downfall on them is the starter sprag,
as for service, do a oil and filter change, valve clearances, and clean out the carb, dump the old fuel, check and lube the chain,
join the mz forum, a few of the guys have them ____________________ the humans are dead
