Today I went to work and parked in my usual spot, locked the bike up and went away, about 5.30 some bloke who had parked opposite backed out and decdided it would be fun to use my bike as a brake.
He did atleast come in and say he'd knocked it over, by that point it was pissing petrol out all over the floor, so I went out, picked it up and gave it a quick assessment, brake lever bent, front end out of alignment, mirror bent, rear mudguard obliterated, numberplate cracked in 2 and the footpegs are bent.
His only response was 'Sorry Mate, I Didn't See Your Bike.
Fucking arse clown, he went and got me some cash to replace all the broken stuff so I won't be going throught scamsurance

You're ranting because a driver who made a mistake did the decent thing and aid you out immediately out of his own pocket? What does it take to please you then? ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

I think you've done him a terrible dis-service. You should pay him out for damaging his bumper ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

But come on... He owned up didn't he.
Not only did he say he wanted to pay, he did. Straight away.

I am grateful for him owning up to it, just not so grateful that I now have to source parts and spend time replacing them ____________________ '84 TS50X, '91 TZR125, '89 CBR400RR, '91 VFR400R NC30, '98 R1

So he comes to tell you he damaged your bike and pays for damages and you bitch and complain?
Now if he'd driven off, then maybe you'd have a reason to compain, but as it stands you've not done too badly tbh.
That said, I'd have asked for more than £30 so I could buy a few more CGs
Edit, looks like just about everyones had the same initial reaction...

Well that's obvious, I'm sure they both wished that.

I wish I had people like him in my accident!
The cvnt who was sat in the passenger seat drunk who smashed his head on the windscreen because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt when the driver slammed the anchors on is suing ME for damages! .
I know your bike got damaged, but lucky he actually came and told you. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."
