First time in 4-5 years so im chuffed Laughing
Was my fault, I was speeding - but I was only keeping up with the cop bike in the front.
He come on at junction 5 (S'ton to Portsmouth) he was doing at least a ton off the slip road.
I was sitting at 140KPH (Cant get the dam speedo back to MPH)
He was still moving further away from me. So I up it to 160Kph.
Sat around 200 yeards from him for a good 10 miles.
He then shot off - I sped up a bit then slowed - He slowed.
I had to over take him due to cars behind me. He shot behind me and pointed to the hard shoulder - shyte Laughing
Got off - He asked what speed I was doing - I said I dont know I was looking at the road ahead. He told me when he 'shot off' he watched me catch up with him pretty quick and that I was doing over 100mph.

Kept my mouth shut about his speed - told me my number plate was illegal, was my exhaust road legal - I told him it all past the mot - So I thought it was Rolling Eyes He seem a nice chap and thankfully I got away with the usual 'change the plate as it wont attract attention.
First pull in 4-5 years (plates been on for over a year and a half with not trouble)
So thats my lil story.... I did shit my pants tho when he pointed Laughing Laughing

No point in getting the coppers back up when he can do you for stuff.

Be the grey man. Be funny, but don't make him laugh. He's got to like you and then instantly forget you.

Umm, are the police allowed to speed when they haven't got the sirens wailing or chasing a suspect?

I didn't realise they were allowed to deliberately goad motorists into breaking the law.

Nice one Itchy Laughing Thumbs Up

Kept my mouth shut because I was speeding.
What got my back up is that he was sitting at 100 for 10 miles - then proceeded to up his speed to see what I would do.
He was at least doing 130 to get away from me.
Lessoned learnt and got away with him telling me to 'keep my speed down when there is a copper about anyway' Laughing I liked the 'anyway' part.

I'd have been happier to let him speed off, why would you want to be riding close to a cop car/bike? Confused

I know - Im crazy.
Just got annoyed that he was able to ride above the speed limit just because he had 'Police' written on a high vis shirt.
Lesson lernt as I said above.
He seemed a bit 'taken' back that I was female riding the 636. Should of told him I was a bean flicker too!

Heh nice louise,

I got stopped on a busy throughfair road yesterday with my mate on the back while i was taking him to work.

Passed the beginnings of an ANPR trap, then as luck would have it the traffic lights went red in such a way that myself and my mate were stopped right next to the pack of police standing around, so after a minute or so of sitting there a young cop waves me into the coned area of doom.

Bit annoyed at this as we were running somewhat late to his work and the only reason i was taking him is because he couldent drive/cycle there in time.

So he asks me all the usual questions, asks for my licence which i give him, he looks at the back which still has the 33bhp restriction blurb (mind you with a pass date of around 2006 (i just never sent it back to the DVLA not wanting to lose enetitlements)

So first he starts telling me that i can do my DAS test Rolling Eyes, i politely inform him that i did my A2/A1 (which ever it is) many years ago and i have no need. He keeps banging on about how he just passed his test and how i can do this and that to get this licence... I just said "look mate i have a full licence, i got it years ago"

Im trying to remain friendly as i may have had a bit of weed in my pocket and i dont need to unduely provoke.

But though our little conversation while hes checking my details i know all the experienced cops standing within earshot can taste the thinly veiled disrespect i have for this upstart not much older than me.

Anyway being that im all legal we were let along our way, but my mate was late for work... Bloody pigs.

I have still only met (traffic related) 2 decent police, One who just gave me the 3 points for well over 100, and one who probably had somewhere to be but gave me a bollocking for again well in triple digits.

It takes a certain personality type to do a job like that, I think anyone who desires to be a police officer should be barred from joining for that reason alone. Pick randoms.

She didn't specify that she could be, I get the impression Lou was simply keeping up pace with him, so I wouldn't be taking lightly that he'd been so cheeky then done me for the same. Uniformed hypocrit. Thumbs Up

Because most of them used to wobble and spit the rider off... she was doing him a favour by checking it wouldn't happen to him! I'd be forgiven if it was an undercover bike though!
