There is a very tidy 2003 Fazer 600 near me I am going to take a look at, anything particular I should look for on these models? Looks in excellent cond. from the pictures and it's up for £2200 (11k miles) price negotiable.
Also, anyone who has owned or does own one care to post a quick review of what it was like day to day, in terms of pillion, acceleration, top end and comfort?
That'd be a big help, cheers in advance. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."

I have a 2000 version (the carbed one). Cracking bike. Loves revs and has quite a noticable kick when you get in the higher rev band.
Really easy and forgiving handling. I've heard the rear shock and suspension are suspect but mine came with an aftermarket shock so I haven't had any problems.
We got it as an insurance buy back for a cheap track bike, but I enjoyed riding it so much I ended up putting it back on the road.
I find I ride it more than my busa just cause its so much fun. The busa is not as forgiving
So all in all a good fun bike ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition

Mm false alarm anyway, got there and the owners were two Polish folk, the woman claimed the owner was her Dad apart from they looked the same age.
Asked the guy how long he'd had it, he said 5 days even though the woman said he used to to commute to work and back as if he'd had it a while and that he'd bought it off his friend as his friend needed the money "urgently".
They weren't even there when we arrived, the guy just arrived on the bike.
The radiator hose was hot to the point of scalding my finger so it'd just been caned prior to me arriving as they said he only uses it for his work commute which he doesn't start until 6pm and I arrived at 5pm.
Then to top it all off, as we drove away he buggered off down the road and around the corner with no helmet on.
So in short, no thanks but thanks for the replies. . ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."
