boundy and I went for a spot of green laning today! Cool

It was just the pair of us, but we met some others on the way, who were new to the area, so we said 'tag along' Smile

It was a cracking day - lovely sunshine, but still a chill in the air ...

Plenty of offs and tricky stuff, but noone hurt and no mechanicals - so awesome day had by all!! Thumbs Up

I have lots of video from today ... I have cut it down into 2*9min vids ... so 18mins of green laning pleasure (or enough time to get thoroughly bored Embarassed)

EDIT:

The vids are now 'live'!!Cool

Part2

RC buggy club (we passed/saw that on the day for those that wonder WTF that is doing here!! Laughing).

Yep ... but they are still 'being processed' by youtube ... they are in low quality only (at the mo) .. give it till 22:30 and they will both be in HQ I should imagine!! Cool

I think the 2nd one is the more 'fun' of the two Cool

New ish ....

I bought one a while ago now ... but despite being for my exact bike (supposedly), it didn't fit properly Crying or Very sad so I chucked it to one side in disgust .... eventually, being so frustrated with the lack of low down grunt of the WR, I decided feck-it ... got the hacksaw, welder and drill out and MADE it fit!! Laughing

And has it made a difference to the low down grunt as I predicted ?

As a side note, I have done the opposite.
I was conscious of many comments about the noise my bike made (fellow riders and the need to be nice to ramblers etc).
So re-inserted some of the baffle plates and took it for its first ride on Sunday as a 'socially acceptable' bike.
Lovely and quiet ... in fact I can hear the engine noise now Smile
eeeek! no power/gutless low down ... , and takes 4 or 5 kicks to start instead of the usual 1.
Back to the noisy then Rolling Eyes
