Anyone playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

I've actually noticed very little lag, what time were you playing?

The sevrers are dedicated EA severs and I've found the matchmaking pretty good, probably why the found the need not to include connection status.

Either you were put in a forign server or your connection was dodgy.

Remember BF:BC2 uses accurate bullet physics so rounds take a few millieseconds to reach their target, especially when sniping.

Probably my connection playing up, I guess. It does seem to be pretty variable. At times it was useless though. Walk through a door then find yourself walking into a wall five metres away useless. The joys of wifi. I'm surprised there's no connection status info anywhere though.

How'd you come by UAVs btw? Is it a kill streaks thing like MW?

UAV is a computer terminal with a joystick that you use. It spawns a mini helecopter next to it that you pilot. Its shown on the map by a blue square.

Did you know the russian HIND helicopter seats 4 people, so if you have an engineer in the back he can repair the chopper midflight.

Same with passengers in the blackhawk.

I've only flown one of them once and it was mental. I ended up being a taxi and just taking people from one side of the map to the other. Got plenty of points though.

I finally got to use it!!!!!!!!!

1st - Didn't know how to control it and went backwards out of the map

2nd time - Flew up then into the cliff

3rd time - I was awesome! Helped my gunner get kills then landed, repaired and went back up



Then

SHITNESS of BF:BC2 strikes again - I was in a new match having fun firing missiles then BAM! All of a sudden i'm not only booted out but all the way back at the dashboard All i'm saying it next time I turn it on all my unlocks better be there

Same happened to me mate, got kicked from a game and lost 7000 points and a few upgrades. Just been kicked again for no reason.
