Help cant get graphics drivers working!? update

Hi guys

i got my new graphics card i got an asus ah3450

Ive downloaded the drivers but they didnt work so i got a hotfix of ati's site and also this doesnt work.

Once i install the drivers it hangs up on the loading windows stage and colours go all dodgy i have to re-boot and start in last known good config.

Ive looked on net at reviews etc and its seems like quite a common problem but i cant seem to find any answers on how to solve it.

Any help would be great

What was your previous graphics card? It sounds like the drivers are jumbled up to me.

Download this link and save it on your desktop or somewhere convenient:

Then go into add/remove programs on the control panel and uninstall the drivers for both your old and new graphics cards. Reboot the pc a couple of times for good measure, if you get prompted to select drivers for your graphics card just cancel it. Once that's done install the driver package I linked above.

If that doesn't work you'll want to try a driver cleaner, something like Driver sweeper should do the trick ( https://downloads.guru3d.com/Guru3D---Driver-Sweeper-(Setup)-download-1655.html ). Hopefully that'll sort it

Hi seb i think i already have those i ran driver sweep and installed the drivers again but still the same problem!

Some of the drivers would not delete with driversweep so i downloaded unlocker assist and deleted them out of the windows file myself but still to no avail

It's possible it's a faulty card but I'd still be suspecting driver issues. Got a spare little hdd floating around? The best way to be sure would be to cook up a clean install of windows on a different HDD and try installing the drivers on that. If it still hangs you've got a hardware issue (be it faulty card, not enough oomph in your PSU or even potentially your AGP settings), it it works then it's time for a fresh install

I was gonna reformat but just my look i cant find any of my windows cd's

Ive put my old x800 back in for the time been , been trying to install the ah3450 for the past 2 days so only option left is format!

well after 3 nights I finally got the driver installed .

everything seemed fine but when I open a game it hangs . comp reboots and starts physical memory dump .

on the games I can watch the cinematics browse the menus etc then load into the game then that's when it hangs

any ideas ?
