nsr restricted in the ignition?

viewin a 2000 model nsr this week which is not an import and is restricted.

he said that there is a restriction in the ignition and i have not heard of this before, just heard of the exhaust, intake and front sprocket. any one know if this is true and how to d-restrict if true?

Hi

Some are restricted in the ignition, but at that age and being an official import it should not have the cdi restriction.

nah he said it isnt an import and is the cdi restriction the same as a restriction in the ignition

CDI is electronic ignition, put simply it is the ignition.

i have a nsr 125 super sprint import 2001 it has a restricted cdi i think it has no other visable restrictions i got a de-restricted 1 of ebay for £25 but it hasnt arived yet but ill let you know if it works Neutral
