where the red circle is there is a tube which centres the variator, on the tube as factory standard there is a restrictor washer so the is no reason that i can think of why is will slow ur scooter down....
also in the green circle check that your clutch shoes arent glazed and just give them a qyuick clean up with enory cloth and brake cleaner same as the clutch bell...

nope they are standard restrictors same as nearly all scooters new out of the crate, piaggio, gilera, aprilia, yamaha etc....  |

same as all 50cc scooters are restricted for 30mph in the uk due to laws, the easiest way is an exhaust restictor or variator washer or fuelling.... take italian 50cc machine in the english market they have a variator washer, exhaust restrictors and have been down jetted for the uk... whereas u go to their country and they have none of these and will do 50mph +  |
