Hi all, first post, just wanted to get the showing off of the bike out of the way. What you think? I know it could do with a clean and the chain has been sorted since then.

Oh dear. A CBR125 with a 'performance' exhaust.

Still, have fun on it! Smile

ignore marjay. His bikes always have and always will have standard exhausts. Otherwise he would be called a hippocrite

Hmm... I don't think I can be labelled a Hypocrite here as I don't own a CBR125...

Oh well. Ignore Matt he's just the bloke on the forum who thinks everyone likes him when in actual fact most people wish he would go away.

Matt are you the dude with the MIto project? Was reading up on that before i became a member and was mightily impressed!

And its the full system not just an end can! Every tiny bit of power makes all the difference on a tiddly CBR lol!

hmm new exhaust, after market indicators, carbon hugger, pillion seat cowl, red wheel tape, after market mirrors, removed pillion foot pegs, new screen, bar ends and also levers...

...i can't help but wonder why you went to that much effort/cost when you could use the cash for your test?

looks ok i guess but would gain infinitely more respect minus the L plates Smile Thumbs Up

I think it's neat for a CBR125.

Props!

Now give it a clean

Cool Thumbs Up I had a CBR as my first bike in black, I also did a few bits including a scorpion end can. Sounds pretty good doesn't it Laughing

Have you ever heard a 'big' bike with an half decent can on it?

I think the amount of noise it makes is just right. Loud enough for people to take notice but not too loud that you get attention from the cozzers all the time. A mate has a DRZ400 with an open pipe and that sounds like Thor shitting thunder! Far too loud imo. Definitly need ear plugs to ride with that but the CBR is manageable.

I don't see a problem with a can on a small bike. Wouldn't mind something for my XR actually...

Normally I'd take the piss out of 125's with "performance" stuff..

However...

Have you ever heard a CBR125 with a performance exhaust?? IT's worth it for the noise alone, they sound soooooooooooo different to how they look a few times I've been suprised thinking "is that thing making THAT noise?" Laughing

Thumbs Up

All the time, though a 125 with a "decent can" on sounds quite nice and different. Yamaha R125s sounds really nice with an unbaffled pipe and end can on tbh.
