The owner said two were bought - one to sell and one to keep for posterity so not really a "discovery".

The NR750 is a nice piece of exotica, but Im nonplussed by the RC30/RC45s. They did well in racing but as for looks, at a glance, youd be hard pressed to tell them from a FZR1000.

To me it's a huge shame that they are just going to sit there collecting dust.

Very nice but I always thought the smaller headlights of the NC35 were prettier.

Didn't realise it had 8 valves per cylinder, shims must be a nightmare to do Laughing Something tells me they probably aren't usually owned by budding DIY mechanics though.

Nice.

Cleaning near priceless bikes with scabby old car sponges, not so nice.

It's like the owner of Hunts Honda in Manchester he has (or at least used to, I've not been down there for a while) an RC30 in a display box in the showroom.

I was speaking to one of the mechanics about it and he told me that it's the owners dream bike but he's never ridden one. I thought that was a complete waste as I've always been of the opinion that you should use things so that you can enjoy them. Yet the mechanic just replied "What if he rode it and it didn't live up to expectation?"

Surely then it's not the bike of his dreams? Sell it move on....

Long time no see Stiffler. When I went there last year, the RC30 was still in its glass box.
