insurance and modifications

Right, I'm trying to get insured for a bike that I plan on doing modifications too.

Ebike won't quote me as I have an sp30 and a claim against me.

Any recommendations for this?

I'm only planning on getting a slipon exhaust, maybe a bigbore kit after summer.

I've got two SP50's and a SP30, modded GSXR and standard RGV for 380 Fully Comp with H&R.

Been with them for several years, no-one can get within a country mile of their renewal quotes.

Chuck your details into one of the compare sites and see what comes up.

The claim you have is it still ongoing, as a current claim can make changing ins co hard. As they have no idea of the outcome and how to price.

There all trying to fuck me over. Adrian flux are bellends, 400 FC, if I got a slipon exhaust = £1000.

All the others were pretty damn ridiculous. I've got for ebike. Still expensive.

Wanted to spend that cash on a downhill bike or pitbike.

I'm through CIA Insurance at the moment and when I've just changed my policy from the VFR to the ZX6R and I declared the end can on it my policy only cost £112 to change and that included £22 odd of admin fees.

Comparison websites are your friend. Also unlike a lot of car insurers, bike insurers will haggle and drop their prices. So far this years premium for me if I add in the change to the ZX6R is costing me £240ish pounds.
