Got to actually see my new bike yesterday, which should be delivered sometime early this week, so i want to be prepared with cleaning shit as i ran out when i sold my R6 in November.

I have no idea if there's a certain type of wax or polish that would be best suited for this paint type so hopefully someone knows of something
Laughing

If not, i'll carry on using mr sheen and the muc off wax which i thought was ok.

I'd tend to agree.

The problem won't be so much keeping it 'clean', it would be preventing it getting marked. Matt paint marks very easily.

I'd probably wax it as normal, or just keep it finger print free by using Mr Sheene.

And resist the temptation to polish the crap out of it.

I've got a matte black Aprilia RSV, what Craig said is right. It looks cleaner a lot longer than gloss black does, however it marks easily from being rubbed by leather, you end up with rub lines (oo-err). Stone chips are probably a bit better on matt than gloss I think.

I just wash it normally with shampoo, although I have heard of people using WD40 on it. Not sure if this works though.
