I think my dad went to some sort of big bike protest in the 80's, no idea why though.

Never been to a protest ride, must be similar to the brighton burn up though in terms of the size of the group riding? just with a different agenda.

Some of the ones through london have been epic, the congestion charge one was awesome, bikes as far as the eye could see. I had a hire bandit so was constanly red lines it and doing burnouts.
