If it was the wireless ones then it'd be the 41's. Reading elsewhere there are some compaints about interference, so I'm unsure whether to go for them or a wired set. I'd like to use them now and again with the tv but my wall mounted LCD uses a video sender for the picture, I'd hate to buy them and then couldn't use them as and when I wanted.

The "good" wires ones arn't much cheaper so I'm unsure what to go for.

As Luke says, the sound is fed through the optical cable to an amp.

Not got them Luke, scheduled for delivery last Friday but there was a cock-up with City Link so they won't arrive until tomorrow. "Unfortunately" I'm away tomorrow with the wife for a couple of nights for my birthday. Wink

Depends on what output you have on the soundcard?

If it has optical out then you could use what EverReady is using.
