Okay, So I taught her how to ride my YB100, Basically an oversized fizzy... She LOVED IT! but ever since she saw one motorcyclist on a CB250n crash, she wont touch a bike!
She said if she ever does get a bike, She wants to get a "50cc automatic".
Yet she also said she wanted to keep up with me.
Every time I suggest a 125, She keeps kicking up a fuss about how she'll kill herself... And she wont touch my RXS with a barge pole!
Any idea's how I can rope her back in?!

Don't do it. You'll have to put up with her coming out on rides etc when you know full well she should be back home in the kitchen.

She does fuck all work ANYWAY! XD
In all fairness, She does look after the place, But it's more because she needs a way to get around, and local transport is bollocks... and I have to pay for it cause I'm the only one with a job lol

Get her the 50cc, when she realises how bad it sucks get her a 125...

IMO 50's are MORE dangerous anyway, 30mph top speed means you annoy every other road user and are treated like a bicycle (dodgy overtakes)...

She wont have one restricted, She'll only have one if it does 45mph... So that only really leaves the sports scooters...

Get her a 125 and put a 50 sticker on it, being a woman she will never find out.

My Mrs came off her FJ1100 18 months ago - tried to get her back on but looks like it will take different bike. Rolling Eyes

Plonk her on a 50 for a test ride, and get her to keep up, let her see the raw power, then she might agree to a 125 ped. At least then it will be capable a half decent keep up speed.

Also, secondhand 125's will be cheaper than 50's as not too many ped riders will go on to a bigger moped.

As Bendy says, "Wouldnt bother"

Best to leave her alone about it - till she is ready.
If she really wants to do it, she will come back into it of her own accord.

I lost my nerve after a tiny off several years ago. Recently I bought myself a GPZ500 which has been perfect for giving me the confidence back on the road by myself, and now I'm thinking about getting back on something bigger.

If you nag your other half, or pressurise her, she is likely to be so nervous on the back of you that she will affect your handling of the bike when she is on it.

... when (IF!) your Mrs ever decides she is ready, let her get back on the 50 and encourage her work her way up in her own time, if she realises that she really does want to increase her cc capacity.

The key phrase here is "in her own time".

Get her the bike she has said she wants, or leave her alone. The more you push her into it, the more likely she'll dig her heels in. Cool
