Montion Capture

Hi there,
i have a webcam set up on my laptop and was wondering if it was possible to use some somftware to make it motion capture-able?!
Basically, the software that came with it is pretty poo, and i want something that will start recording when motion is detected ie security camera
Ive had a browse on here and the web, but nothing seems to really fit.
Is there such software?

Go to the site that makes the camera and have a good loom around. if not get a camera that supports it...

P.S. why do you want to capture motion???? dont you think there is enough porn people dont wanna watch out there already???

try webcamxp or active webcam.
i use the former to monitor my house when im not home although i dont use motion detection. but it is there

I have a Linksys wireless webcam (Click)
Its software does motion detect and will email you when its triggered.

It also has a patrol setting so that you can program it to scan up to 9 areas (it has pan and tilt). It has zoom as well but its only digital and not very good.

Overall its good for security but not the cheapest around.
