What sort of places are around that I can start out with my MX bike?

Atm I only really know of Toms farm in Wales, and Enduroland in Northants.

That, plus any MX tracks around.

Ideally I'm looking for somewhere fairly open, so I can get used to the bike and riding off road, I suspect if I go to the MX track I'll be far too slow and clueless and get in everyone's way in a fairly small environment.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Aren't you planning a jaunt in this direction to collect SV parts?

Yeah, but I'm dropping in on the way home from Bristol. Wasn't planning on bringing the MX bike.
