ZX-6R J1 any good?

Been looking at all sorts of bikes to buy and one of the cheaper options that takes my fancy is a nice ZX-6R J1 ive seen.
Are they any good? What sort of common faults are there to look out for etc. The one ive seen has about 20'000 miles on it.
From reading reviews it sounds a bit like a slightly quicker, better handling cbr600f, but without the Honda build quality

I preferred my J1 to my friends CBR for the riding position mainly but my kwak suffered a lot with being kept outdoors so its worth considering - that said when some tool half-inched it I went and bought a ZX636 A1 which has equally deteriorated in the weather, great bikes though!

get a j2. The j1 has some dodgey bits that are resolved in the later model.

My J1 survived the harsh winter being ridden virtually every day on a 70 mile commute. ACF-50 kept it corrosion free apart from a couple of jubilee clips.

i thought they made changes to the gearbox on the J2
