I do agree, a folding trailer is the best of both worlds. Especially since I'll be taking road bikes to trackdays.
But then again a folding trailer is probably 5/6 times the price of a rack. And I can always ride a road bike to a trackday (with enough spares to fix it enough to ride home again )

It is a legal thing as far as I know, I'm afraid.
Seen plenty of heavier bikes on them on larger hatchbacks, but obviously there could be some issues if you were in an accident and it was suggested this caused problems - doubly so with your profession, of course (presuming you can't do the nudge-nudge wink-wink thing ).
One of the few reasons I could be tempted by a Land/Rangerover is they have very good nose weights. |
