Did I win?

Behind a double decker bus this morning. It indicated left and started to pull over for a bus stop, I squirt the throttle and go round it.

100m down the road I see several fluorescent jackets and a man pointing a gun at me. I see they have already pulled over a couple of cars as well. I shut off the throttle and grab a good handful of brakes.

He didn't pull me over, nor did her lower his radar.

Am I right in assuming I won this round?

Don't quote me on this, but normally when they are pulling people in that's only when you're done. I reckon if there were some of his collegues stood around doing nothing and he didn't pull you in then you've got away with it.

There were about 5 or 6 of them. One pointing the radar and 2 already talking to drivers. 2 were stood directly behind radar man.

I don't know how visible the speed reading is to them, but I was at the front of quite a line of traffic that then came round the bus and he did not lower the radar and seemed to be continuing along the line of traffic as opposed to having a 'fix' on me if you see what I mean. I didnt go over 40 before braking as I reckon I was doing about 20 as I opened the throttle.

As soon as he heard the unbaffledness of my exhaust up popped his radar gun. I would say that as his arm came up I was starting to grab some lever. I checked in my mirror as I passed and could not see any of the 3 non-busy peelers making notes. So fingers crossed.

I guess I will find out in a couple of weeks.
