ZX6R J1 started to do a few more things to it

Well i bought this zx6r last summer. Started a few basic mods, such as undertail, end can, crash bobbins, db screen, and a couple of other bits. Unfortunatley i never took any photos of the things i did, only before and after pics.

But today, i started to prep my wheels for powdercoating. and took some photos.

I also ordered some braided hoses. I'll try a keep the photos coming as i carry work out.

Well this is were im upto at the minute. so i'll get some more pics tomorrow, as i finish preping the wheels.

Hopefully i'll be having them powdercoated Black next week, depending on work comitments.

Thanks andybon, i like the colour scheme, its a little different from the normal kawasaki green, although i do like the green too.

Well heres the oil and filter i bought, and some castrol brake fluid for when my new brake lines arrive.

£48 down Shocked but the bike sounds alot smoother thanks to the new oil Very Happy

Still waiting for mine to arrive, Been waiting for a week. Got 5l of silkolene oil and a filter off ebay for £28. Think for what i saved i might as well have gone to halfords and got it there!

Myne was from halfords lol, i seen some great offers on eBay too, but i wanted to do it asap so i went to halfords.

Got my wheels today, the final price was £30, they look the dog's in my oppinion.

Ok so heres a photo of my wheels, now in yummy matt black.
I cannot wait to fit them, just got to get my tyres re-fitted tomorrow hopefully.

The finish isn't 100% perfect, due to my 'not so perfect' prep work, but it is not shabby at all.

I'd recommend shotblasting first to anyone who was thinking about powdercoating there wheels.

Well, i finally got my tyres re-fitted, and ive now fitted my wheels back onto the bike. They're now black. im also very happy with my new rear tyre.

I also made a start on changing the brake lines, and sucesfully managed the rear, so front is next

Ive had another double bubble screen, as the one i had was solid black, and i couldn't see through it when tucked behind it, so now ive got a light smoke double bubble.
