I was bored, thought I'd look at bikes on autotrader (as you do), when I thought for a laugh look at something WAY out of my price range.. Saw this... Suzuki B-King Turbo

What gets me, is that it looks like a standard B-King albeit a few bits which poke out from the engine, but a 'genuine 470BHP' from the engine? Is that possible from a bike?... Might just be me being stupid or slightly hungover but I was curious if this could even be done and yet only cost £25k...

oh, and Porn!

Hi

A lot more than that is possible if you really want it. Think Jack Frosts 'busa is running at about 700hp (when he wants it to), and Big CC will build one with similar power (and no doubt both can provide even more if you are desperate and don't care too much about it being useable). As the BKing engine is basically a 'busa engine the same is possible.

All the best

Keith

Ghost Riders bike was claimed to be something like that, but from people who have spoken to him it was never dynoed to find out.

Turbo kits are not THAT expensive, but depends on how much power you want. Think a 'busa will take a turbo with enough boost for roughly 250hp without any mods to the engine. Go over that and you need to start investing in low compression pistons, stronger rods, etc. Also the 'busa engine suffers with breaking the starter motor mout off the crankcases if you go too silly.

Basic kit:-

Silly kit:-

The new modular turbo system will be aimed at a low cost 260/270bhp entry system that can be enhanced with the necercery add ons to eventually achieve over 480bhp. yes it cost more than other stage 1's but dont be fooled!

What's a necercery add on?
Sounds like a pre-school centre for the children of mercenaries.

If you need more power then you need to add thing. The turbo itself is fine for more power, but the injectors, rods, pistons, fuel pump, etc, need upgrading if you want more than the basic ~250hp.

All the best

Hi

Something around that, but not sure exactly. But far from a quick bolt on kit.

All the best

Do they possibly mean necessary? Or is nercercery a specialist term? Possibly a derivative/contraction of nerd sorcery?

Unless you want everyone to know where you live then care should be taken when posting Bike Trader links.
