Hello every1.
I've had this idea in my mind for a while which involved taking off the 2 exhaust from my fazer 600 and replace them with a single one instead.
Looking on the net to see if every1 else had already done it I found this

https://img101.imageshack.us/img101/7782/user10309pic52341258271.jpg

https://img204.imageshack.us/img204/4180/user10309pic52331258271.jpg

https://img82.imageshack.us/img82/6834/dscf4053sn7.jpg

which I really like.
What i wanted to know is:
Do I need to buy a specific pipe or can I buy any1 I like and they buy an "adapter" to plug it into the bike?
thanks

Better to buy a specific pipes, although you can fit anything with the same diameter, or get a link pipe that changes the diameter.

the problem is there are no specific pipes for it, cause if i look on the internet for specific pipes for a fz6 2005 all of them will be the under seat double ones.

Well it can be done obviously, it's just more hassle to do it yourself.

Somthing with a stubby exhaust system. R6, GSXR 600/750, FZ1.

I would expect an FZ1 can to be the nearest fit to be fair. Have you tried asking on a Fazer forum?

The exhaust in the last picture looks like it belongs to a CBR600RR and it's been turned on its side.

Disagree, why would Leo Vince put their logo where it wouldn't be seen....

Hi

Quite a few places around that can make up custom sections of exhaust.

All the best

Nothing bolts on, you can do it but it involve creativity on your part.

It's not a case will this fit is is a case of you making it fit.

Thanks for understanding my ignorance on the matter Embarassed

Can some1 confirm me that:
the red part is the engine headers
the blue part the de cat pipe
and the yellow part mid pipe which connects to the exhaust pipe.

if so.. does any1 know if u can fit an r6 de cat pipe?
thanks.

https://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4909/pipet.jpg

the main point I'm interested into is to see if it is possible to buy the blue part from an R6 and connect it on my fazer. So if I'm wrong what is the name of the blue part?

I would call the blue part the collector box, that all looks like 1 unit to me, any modification would require cutting and welding. The red part is the linkpipe as it is is all 1 peice.

Hi

Blue part might contain a cat but looks like the first bit of the yellow part does.

I would severely doubt that an R6 pipe would fit in when it looks like the exhaust takes a (probably fairly tight) route up though the swinging arm.

All the best

Keith

so the only way is to find someone who can create a link pipe from the green area or someone who can cut and fix another pipe from the purple area.

ahah if i manage to go thru I'll post some pictures. thanks every1 for your help.
