Ok got my CBT next week which i'm stoked about, can't wait.

I'll need a bike after it to ride so i have a mate with a honda ls125 2002 bike who is willing to sell it to me.
It needs a couple of bits replacing because he came off it awhile back but i know parts for these bikes are really hard to get hold of.

So my question is:
Is a Honda ls125r a good first bike?
Can i get both hanger brackets, indicators and a clutch lever easily?
(i heard the CBR has similar parts so you can get parts from them)

Cheers Smile

Anything that doesn't show on David Silvers spares is not a good idea...

If you want a sports bike styled bike you could go for a Honda NSR or CBR or an Aprillia RS125.
I've seen a fair few NSR's on ebay and other places, so I wouldn't think parts would be a problem.

Well i'm looking for anything really that is not too expensive and will get me from A to B.

I can get the bike for £400 and i've found the parts on ebay and David Silver spares. So maybe its still worth it, considering its only a late 2002 bike and has only done 1000 miles.

Still worth the bike?
I just need it for work to travel 20 miles or so.
