Hi

True to an extent, but the UK government could easily have applied for (and almost certainly got) and exemption to allow the test at the UK urban speed limit of 30mph rather than the general EU 50kmh one (31mph).

The legislation was put forwards by the non-elected European Comission.

The quasi-elected MEPs who we pay millions of pounds to represent our interests in the European Parliament then voted for it without proposing the changes necessary to prevent unintended consequences. Thereby proving they are as incompetant as they are corrupt.

The cost of the off road centres should be docked from their wages.
