I don't see many republicans getting coverage in the Scottish or British press. The republican-controlled press is very small circulation because the TV broadcasters are controlled by royalists - the Queen's courts, for example.
So the people are being brainwashed by royalist TV all the time -and American TV also supports the Queen - so the people just lap up the UK-royalist press and don't seek out republican views.
Royalist political activists - Labour, Tory, Lib Dem, SNP etc. who don't actually change anything get lots of coverage in the press of course.
However these royalist political activists are not "good" unless you mean "good for the Queen but bad for the people".
| Ste wrote: | So you do what you can to silence those who have views different to yours? |
Fascists and neo-Nazis of the far right, yes. We KNOW what they do when they get going. They will round up and exterminate all political factions not subordinate to the state as did Hitler's Nazis.
The far right need to be stopped by force early. That is the political lesson of the rise of the Nazis.

What have you achieved for the English? |
My Scottish National Standard Bearer website presents reasons and outline plans for having Scottish and British republican revolutions.
Writing a book or a website is an achievement in itself.
It is like a motor-cycle maintenance manual. Writing the manual is an achievement in itself. Obviously, the manual is of most use when someone uses it to maintain or to repair a motorcycle.
Likewise with my website - I suppose a kind of "manual" for Scottish and British republican revolutions.
Writing my website was an achievement in itself. But my website will be of most use when the Scots or the Britons use it to have a republican revolutions.
I have left a task for English republicans to write an English republican revolution website and they are free to use any of my ideas as an example.
For example, English republicans are welcome to join my political discussion forum to discuss political matters of common interest - which is a lot, since both English and Scottish republicans have the same enemy - Queen Elizabeth.
So my achievement for the English is to offer ideas, inspiration and my help to English republicans. It is also an achievement to offer this to the Welsh, the Irish, the Canadians, the Australians and the New Zealanders.
It is not up to an author to say if and when his or her book or website will be read and made use of.
If you don't buy the motor-cycle manual and follow the instructions then maybe your bike will suffer. Likewise if the English don't follow republican leadership they will stay under the Queen and suffer. ____________________ Scottish republican socialist, author and protester (Video profile)

I am not sure precisely what you mean by "signature".
I don't have a signature on my webpages and I don't have a IFRAME in my forum signature.
In the main webpages there are two IFRAMES near the bottom - one for the index and another which offers a click through to the forum topic related to that page.
I noticed scrolling sluggishness with Internet Explorer 8 with big complicated pages but I thought that was mainly down the extra functionality being too much to ask from my 2003-era PC. I have reverted to IE7 for various reasons and I don't have any problems scrolling my webpages.
I have encounter other temporary problems which caused scrolling problems - such as the Skype Mastermind add-on.
Embedded window frames using the HTML IFRAME tag are a long established feature of webpages and if your system is scrolling poorly with IFRAMES it is not my design's fault.
| SoND wrote: | Autoplay anywhere is terrible. Big no no, especially when it's cryptic and you want to turn it off. (Scot.tk I'm talking about here) |
There is an OFF switch for the auto-play and once you learn where it is, end of problem. (Assuming your browser correctly obeys instructions NOT to autoplay.)
| SoND wrote: | Your design is crap. I appreciate you have probably spilled a lot of your time into this site but it's over done. Minimal is key. |
Well I appreciate your honesty, one biker to another.
| SoND wrote: | Get a bit of order going, none of the pages look the same except for the fact your face is in the background. I don't want to see your face, I want to know what the site is about. |
The website is MY take on politics. Most politics people listen to someone speaking on TV and then you can't help but remember who you are listening to.
The forum doesn't have my face as a background behind the various user posts, just around the border and top menu and border representing my administrator role in the forums.
| SoND wrote: | You have <30 seconds from a visitor opening your site to know exactly what they are looking at and a good reason to stay and look about. Audio blasting in the background and no obvious way to stop it is a sure fire way to scare them off. |
Maybe but then some people will only ever stay 30 seconds no matter what the site is like - so I'd like them to hear the word "FREEDOM" in that 30 seconds because that is what William Wallace was denied by Edward Longshanks and that is what their Queen Elizabeth's officers are denying me and other Scots.
| SoND wrote: | This is a site by a man called John Harris. Notice how tidy everything is, easy to navigate and he doesn't make an over the top effort to highlight his name or identity. It's by no means the best but it's a long shot better than yours.

I don't have time to review this site in detail but the more the merrier in general. A variety of approaches is to be welcomed and embraced. How boring the world would be if everyone's website had to be the same. ____________________ Scottish republican socialist, author and protester (Video profile)

Have you noticed how once Thatcher was gone all the satire in this country dried up? |
Satire did not dry up. Does the name "Rory Bremner" mean anything to you?
| LeeR wrote: | It'd be the same without Mrs Windsor, what would you live for? Would you turn to writing musicals like Ben Elton or would you just curl up and die? Would you just curl up and die? |
What like Jean Charles de Menezes did? I think he would have done better WITHOUT the Windsors rubber-stamping the police state.
| LeeR wrote: | Anyway, much as I side with the republican ideology, I can't entertain electing a president from our self-serving politicians whether commons or lords, and I reckon most of the UK would vote that way (see Australian referendum 1999) and if they didn't we'd end up with president Blair, or worse... |
Well the Australian royalists rigged that vote - there was not on offer the chance to directly elect a president. The proposal was that the poliiticians in parliament would elect the president.
Voting gives the opportunity to elect someone better than the Queen.
It wouldn't BE the UK voting - the vote would be about whether there would BE a UK. Without the monarchy, there is no kingdom and NO United Kingdom.
Also Scots reserve the right to have our own vote. We are going to leave the Union on a vote of Scots alone - which means as soon as we defeat the royalist traitors like Alex Samond and the royalist SNP who want to keep Scotland as one of the Queen's kingdoms with the Union of the Crowns.)
Sticking with the Queen didn't help the Australians any when she allowed the Greens in power in Victoria state to fine people for creating fire breaks around their houses in the bush and her same state disallowed oppressed home-owners the right to really complain and protest about this local authority stupidity without getting the usual mistreatment as "criminals" or "insane". ____________________ Scottish republican socialist, author and protester (Video profile)

Good activists will make it into the press whenever they do something that's interesting. Boring ones who never achieve anything don't make it into the press because they're not doing anything interesting and most of the time they're not doing at all.
You can keep telling yourself that the reason you and your buddies don't get any press coverage is because of a conspiracy by the Royalists controlling the media, or you can change your approach and actually achieve something.

Likewise with my website - I suppose a kind of "manual" for Scottish and British republican revolutions. |
The problem with your website is it's full of statements about yourself and pictures of yourself. Any useful information is well hidden. Your forum is basically dead, two thirds of the posts on it are by you and it's near impossible to find your way around the forum because it's full of egotistical banners, photos and youtubes videos.
| Peter Dow wrote: | Writing my website was an achievement in itself. But my website will be of most use when the Scots or the Britons use it to have a republican revolutions.

You consider your website to be an achievement, many people would disagree and I'm one of them. Has anything been achieved as a result of your website? To use your comparison with bike manuals, someone can write the best manual in the world but it's 100% useless if nothing ever happens as a result of it. Your website isn't an achievement unless anything has come about because of it's existence.
So have you actually achieved anything for the English (excluding making your websites) like you claim? |

I know sweet fuck all about politics, this is because Queen or no Queen i understand im always going to be shafted financially by my government. I take little or no notice about it because gone are the days were rioting is the answer. Give me a time and date where we meet in London and storm the palace with anything we can carry to bludgeon royalty and im there.
Dressing up in a costume won't change that, as much as i admire someone putting in the time to something they are passionate about i also feel quite sorry for you and your goals. Its like watching a retarded kid trying to swat a wasp nest with a chopstick.
On a side note, in one day of Prince Charles life he will achieve more 'good' for people than you ever will with 1000 youtube videos supporting your cause. Scary stuff. ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

 |
|
I am now coming to view that I need to do something to draw attention to the off button for the start music.
There is an off button there but I guess if you can't see it then it is not of much use.
You need to open the window full-screen or virtually the entire width of a 1024 pixel screen before the home-page beginning "FREEDOM!" audio control is accessible, but when you do, you should see this to the top right of the window.
https://scot.tk/openingsoundcontrol.jpg
3 controls of interest which you operate by clicking on buttons.
The Pause/Play and Stop buttons control the "FREEDOM! then music" sound which is played when you start up the site via the normal home page link. https://scot.tk
The Auto-play ON/OFF is a general control which effects whether or not a sound or video will automatically be started playing whenever you click to a new page in the website.
https://scot.tk/autoplayisTRUE.jpg = ON
https://scot.tk/autoplayisFALSE.jpg = OFF
Therefore clicking Auto-play OFF won't immediately silence a sound but it will mean that no more auto-plays should begin when you click to a new page via the menu or via the INDEX page.
There is a way to start up the home page with the Auto-play in the OFF position and therefore to begin silently which is via this link https://scot.tk/quiet.htm
That should all work. It is usually just a question of knowing where the buttons are and getting a sense of control.
Sometimes people's browser settings stop the buttons working as expected. ____________________ Scottish republican socialist, author and protester (Video profile)

Folks.
Don't argue with him, this one of those occassions where you'll be dragged down by an idiot and beaten with experience.
I tried to read some of the points on his website but I had to stop as I could feel myself becoming ever more stupid, I'm already running low on intelligence; I can't really afford to lose any more.
The idea that getting rid of the Queen will solve all ills (because those elected officials would be just so damn good were it not for that pesky queen) is daft. Socialism is daft. This person and his website are daft.
I've taken the stance; if I attempt to argue with him or read his website I'll become stupid, if I become stupid I'll start to for-go intelligent debate and instead, merely issue peurile asides & infantile snipes from the sidelines.
With that in mind I've decided to short circuit the process, cut out the middle man if you prefer and go directly to making juevenile and largely unconstructive written ejaculations as I see fit and apropos of nothing in particular.
That is all, for now...
