If you are a half decent mechanic it will go on forever if not you will hate it.

well im not to sure on bikes........ but i have just completely re-built a toyota mr2 from a bare shell - including an engine rebuild.....

are they a bit troublesome?

Yes and no, they are simple and easy to work on but you will have to do things to it if you get my drift. If you have rebuilt a car and understand how a 2t engine works you should be fine.

Parts are cheap and it will go of forever with minimal fettling and a few parts. My dad had one that used to eat head gaskets in the end he could completely change the head gaket from start to finish in about 20 mins.

Pics? Want to come and do the same to mine? I have just lost all motivation for working on cars and bikes of late. Maybe it will come back when the weather gets a bit nicer again.
