Okay, why bendy?

Just wonder why people chose the names they chose?

Formerly EvilBendy, just cos I had an Evil Bendy sitting on my desk at the time and the name amused me.

https://www.mcphee.com/pixlarge/10391.jpg

I dropped the 'Evil' later cos everyone just called me Bendy anyway.

I'll bite. Why Mr Pants! ?

Never heard of them??

I chose Mr Pants as I, for some stupid reason, have always found the word pants really funny. And still, at 34 years of age, I chuckle about it. What the hell is wrong with me.

Anyway, years ago, got well into online gaming with the name Pants! Someone killed me in a mad gun battle, they said something along the lines of eats that Pants, then I said, Mr Pants to you! Then the name stuck and I have had it for years and years!

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=25930

Anyway Inglesina94 because I first went on line onto Italian Chat Rooms and as I am now in England I thought it could be a good nam ... it means little English one. 94 the year I moved over!

"CPL" comes from my old ACF rank (added to redbaron in 2002)

"Redbaron" comes from long ago when l used to play a lot of combat flight simulator 2/3 on-line back in 1999 (l think) being using it ever since on internet etc.

Surname is Sutcliffe, so it went from sutty to Sooty, like the puppet Very Happy but a lot of websites already had sooty on their database so i put my first initial on to make it Rsooty.

Mines quite odd.

When I was about 12-13, rollerblading was really big (and as my friend would love to say, so was I - off topic but had to be said for them) and the there was a pro skater called Matt Mantz. When I signed on to IRC the first time, i had to think of a name and he was my favourite skater as he was only a couple of years older than me and I had dreams of skating pro. So I added a Y and its been my nick for about 10 years now. I even burnt it onto the science benches with strips of magnesium when the teacher wasn't there. Cost me £50 to resurface the thing. Forgot that the school knew my nickname too.

Also used Angelus for a year or so as I liked the TV series Angel. Used to find it was taken quite often though. Mantzy is never taken though which is good. Lots of guys on IRC used to think i was a girl though which kinda sucked though. Confused

Wasn't it Matty Mantz? I remember seeing a cheeky picture in Unity of him doing a frontslide on the back step of someones van while they were parked in traffic.
