Just a warning to anyone looking for an SV650...

i've sold the ZZR and NSR and looking for a new bike, saw THIS on ebay, looked like it could be a bargain - for some reason i thought i'd waste £3 of my hard earned punds doing a text check, and i'm glad i did, as the DVLA have the bike down as being stolen, and belonging to an insurance company who will reposess it..

lucky save really.

Possibly stolen recovered hence the damage.

Did you contact the seller and/or report it?

Could be someone's pride and joy not yet recovered, or may be a legit sale......

I aquired a bike that came up like that on the insurance/checks data base. Went to the police and they said they had no interest in it and it was a stolen/recovered but the insurance company had never updated the database.

They told me it was quite a common occurance and it was nigh on impossibe to get it removed if it was an old entry.
