Hi All,

Seeking some advise to help get a friends bike running again. A year ago I was in Australia visiting a friends farm. Decided to take their bike out for a whip around the paddock . My mates dad told me where they kept the fuel, but when i filled it up i think i might have put diesel in instead - so the story goes. Should have been two-stroke - crap. Anyway, i am back at the farm this weekend coming and i want to redeem myself by fixing their bike. What needs to be done to get this baby back up and running again? Any advise would be great. I was thinking of clearing the lines and running some new (correct fuel through) , but it cant be that simple - can it?

Did you attempt to start the bike when you put.. well whatever you put in?
If so it could be more than a bit dead...
If not clearing it out would help, you might need something like redx to clear it through perhaps, possibly you will need to empty the fuel system carbs and all and clean em up, because you will probably have to if its had anything stood in it for any ammount of time tbh..

If you have any mechanical questions your best off in the right section, but i'm sure a nice mod will move it for you Wink

IT might be simple, it might be slightly more complicated... well you cant break it allot more can you? Razz do they have a manual? do you have propper tools at your disposal? if not to be honest pay a mechanic to fix it, without the right tools/torque setings you could do allot more damage than youd think Shocked

Good luck tho, have fun in oz Thumbs Up
