Is there a website that gives the spec and low-down of most modern motorbikes? Im curious to find out a fair bit about mine, i.e., weight, bhp, performance times, what model series it is etc, but not found anything as yet on various search engines Confused

www.motorbikes.be

Or have a look on www.motorcyclenews.com - they've got reviews on there.

only other question which I can't find the answer to.... people mention Suzuki GSXR600's and mention what 'K' series it is.. how do I know what mine is? And if mine is watercooled, does that make it 'SRAD'?

The K series is the triangular light model - from 2001 I think. The SRAD is the model before that AFAIK.

Mike, yours is the "srad" model. You can see the air intakes leading to the airbox, on the front end.

Suzuki Ram Air Direct = SRAD (remember i was blabbering on about that on Sunday)

Yours is the last of the carbouterred ones. 2001> gave it fuel injection. the later models (ie Ks) also have SRAD, but do not display it, because at the time of your bike it was a "big thing"...

yours is watercooled Laughing . if its wasn't it pretty much wouldn't be a modern sportsbike... Mines is and its 12 years old and is watercooled. most decent engined bikes have water cooled systems...

I think the k model were 2001 onwards, but i cant say for sure...

try: (not that good)
