Im thinking of buying someone a personalised plate as a gift, its cheap and its what they would like so no problem there.

But, im looking to buy it from the DVLA site...

https://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/

And the one that ive found for sale also appears on the askmid site under a Kia Picanto Confused Do they advertise every plate on there (even ones already in use) or is there something dodgy about the Kia?

I'll give them a ring tomorrow but wondered if anyone knows what the deal is with the DVLA. Thumbs Up

I don't know what the deal is and I can't be bothered to research the subject but I suspect that the Kia may have been written-off or had a personalised plate assigned to it in which case I think that the ownership of the original number reverts back to the DVLA.

If it's on the DVLA site I wouldn't worry.
