Now i need a bellypan and a rear hugger. any one know for some cheap stuff. also fancy some different mirrors and proper renthals

i dont know exactly, but if the carbs are the same then i suppose...

there are always bits for sale there.

hugger is definitely needed, mine came with it.

yeah they are the same.

i dont know where to get the restricted CDI from seperately, mine came with the rubbers from the local Honda dealer.

unfortunately i didnt ever run it with JUST the restricted washers with a normal CDI, only ever restricted rubbers/restricted CDI and then normal rubbers/normal CDI.

i know people do run with just the washers though, the CDI is only really to make the bike run healthier at 33bhp instead of trying to force too much power through i.e it is limited electronically too.

should be fine tbh.

but dont ride the bike de-restricted and then put the washers in, or you will feel so depressed.

Im not to sure but i was read that a hornet has 34mm carbs but the cbr has 36 however i maybe wrong, i am taking delivery of my hornet on wednesday and i brought doovydoo's kit and i was wondering if you could take some pics of how to fit it or does anyone have any advice cheers.

Yes the CBR has 36mm carbs, but the kit NS bought is from a CBF600, which uses the same engine and carbs as the hornet. Abeit slightly detuned.

i replied on the hornets nest Smile

its just taking tank off, airbox off and swapping the carb rubber inlets and swapping the ECU.
