I passed my test in 1996 on a CG125 and have not been in the saddle for years, never fully owning a bike, apart from hires on holidays etc. Am now 38 but physically fit etc.

Anyone in a similar position - thinking of taking it easy and enrolling in some tuition etc. Then what?

hello to all....been riding for 30 years... just done the normal test in1981..have done the IAM... i am a good rider.???... i know there are better than i am... just remember a few things.... ride as if you have a bubble around you...dont get it burst... ride as if you have an glass of water on the rear of the seat...dont spill.. keep everything smooth as you can... braking...pulling away... cornering...try and be seen..and make sure you can see..and also stop in the distance you can see.....not behind the back of the BUS....every body...other road users....are out to get you...theres loads........but remember on two wheels you are half way to falling off.. and if the accident is not your fault...it still hurts... road craft would be a good read.....
