just last week i bought my DT to learn to ride on and hopefully pass my test as im a bit bored of just using a car all the time, it had been used by "crackheads" as a field bike, i got the V5 with it and its all sound.

the bike was in a sorry state, its obviously been dropped etc... it has no plastics or seat and one mirror has snapped off, it was blue and its been sprayed black and the paint is coming off everywhere its been applied like deodorant i think

so its going to be a nice little project for me Smile

then i bought a seat off ebay, when it arrive it didnt quite match up, i think its for a later model, but that didnt stop me i made it fit Wink had to grind in a few places and it sits on nice now just the bolt holes dont line up to anything so i may have to weld a plate in.

Then i won an auction for a Yamaha DT an off road bike where the bloke had took it apart to fit piston rings or something and hasnt got the time to put it back together again, going to pick it up tomorrow, so hopefully i will have pretty much all the parts i need to get it looking roadworthy again, maybe even a seat that fits Smile
