I've tried this just now, painted my kitchen ceiling now I'm trying to wallpaper. Done it before simples; just slap some paste on and press it to the wall and wait for it to dry....

But mixing the actual paste - - fook me. Rolling Eyes Laughing

I asked me dad, this is how chat went:

The trick is to add some of the powder and stir then while the water is moving slowly add the rest and keep stirring, if you just dump the bag in at once you end up with lumps and all the stirring in the world wont get rid of them...

Also it tells you on the back of the packet how many pints of water you need to go with how many rolls of paper you have...

If mixed right there's no reason why you can start using it straight away either...

Oh yeah, little tip, if you have a little sealable container, put some in there before you throw the rest away when you've finished as sods law says there will be some corners or joins that lift a few days later, at least having some in a tub will save buying extra stuff to re stick it...

Get the right amount of water in a bucket. Stir the water nice and quick so that a whirlpool forms. Slowly trickle the paste into the water while continuously stirring.

If you CBA just nail the paper up and sellotape the joins.
