Hey All - newbie to the forum.

To start off with - I've been made aware I've been mentioned on here before (not so much myself, but the "club" Ratticus.) I want this to have NO effect on my posts or what people think of me. The references to Ratticus were made not on my behalf nor by an affiliate of mine, but an idiot who has decided that Nottingham has an M.C. from America (South Side) and has a link to our website from his.

Okay - I'm 23 (yesterday) and I'm rebuilding a Honda Cb550/4 but I have to get it to Nottingham from Somerset to complete it, and, seeing as my Van recently blew up, I'm vehicleless at the moment.

I grew up in the GWOCGB, NABD and various other local clubs in and around Somerset, and have been riding my whole life, or as close as matters (around 19 years now)

I've had a couple of crashes (haven't we all) and I've been an absolute twat in the past (again, haven't ... well, most of us!?) but I've been introduced to this forum, and look to meet a load of like-minded people.

Hopefully I'll catch up with some of you at the rallies!

Laters

Lurch / Ian / Ratticus

For some reason I'm now expecting you in my mind to have a RAT bike or start a project immediately. It sounds like you do ride your bikes all the time though Thumbs Up

Welcome.

Alexio - rat bikes are the way forward!!!! Look at how much it costs to replace a panel on new bikes, then how much it costs to sticka panel back together with tape and still in character with the bike!

My CB550 is being rebuilt/restored, but I'm looking for a cheap hack to last me until that's done (which will become the missuses!)

Hi...it's weird, you have the same/similar nickname to a biker friend myself and a couple of others here lost in January. And you sign yourself as Lurch too...is that how you are known in the world of rallies? Which rallies do you frequent?

Hey Clanger - just a small world I guess. I've not been on this site before. Known as Lurch at the rallies I've been to. I don't "frequent" any in particular, but ahve been to You've Been Nabbed Stormin, Bulldog, and Farmyard as well as a few others in and around Bristol. Known as lurch676 or ian in the GWOCGB.

Thansk for the greets peeps

Doubly small world my dad is called Ian and is known as Lurch in some circles well Lurchin really. It not because he is tall but because of a dog and football team, work that one out.
