Where do people sell bikes these days?!
E-bay? Bike trader? Where else?

I'm trying to find a Z1000, but there only seam to be about 3 for sale within 50miles of Newbury!

also bought my GSXR from eBay, it's just such a large coverage

Can't you travel further then 50 miles? That's probably filtering out most of the bikes for sale.

agreed 50miles really isn't car.

i used to commute 27miles and wouldn't think of going further for the right bike.

I've got a knackered knee so can't ride or drive.
I agree e-bay seams to be the place, sold my last 4 bikes on there!
Just want to know if i'm missing somewhere common!

i found both my 125 and my 250 on www.preloved.co.uk.
both appeared to be bargains too, some people would rather sell on there than ebay now it seems

+1 for eBay, I just sold my CBR600 on there. Took me two attempts to get the money I wanted, but got there in the end!

There are an awful lot of people browsing bikes on eBay, it's a good place to look, and a good place to buy because there are a lot on there.

Failing that, Bike Trader is still the favourite I believe.

Gumtree is good for a bargin,

some people list bikes there as they dont want to pay the ebay fees 1st, so you can sometimes get a bargin

Agreed with Gumtree, I just got a bargain R6 from there.
Was also looking through ebay and pistonheads mostly when trying to find a bike, biketrader is ok as well. MCN didnt really have much in my area.

where would you store such information on a forum? Well, in a 'sticky' thread would make sense. Oh look there's one at the top of the forum, I wonder what it contains .

Advertised mine on Pistonheads (free), BCF (free) and mcn (cost about a tenner).

I ended up selling it through piston heads.
