Bit far for me since I’m in Switzerland at the moment… …however it should be something you can do fairly easily. I had a stripped thread on the other side of the barrel for one of the exhaust studs and was worried about trying to fix it with a helicoil type insert.
I shouldn’t have worried though. The process was very straightforward and worked a treat. Getting the broken stud out in the first place was hardest bit.

Do you have a place to work on it? Now the evenings are lighter I find I get more motivation to carry out repairs. My next task is to replace my barrel and piston after my last ones lunched themselves. ____________________ 2016 CBF1000F - Commuter heaven | 1994 CBR600FR - Awaiting defibrillation |

Cant upload, This is a work pc and I dont have the internet at home lol.
The inlet manifold isnt the problem, It's where the manifold bolts INTO the cylinder. the bolt has sheared off in there with no stud protruding. and another one of the threads is completely stripped so needs tapping....
I can take the cylinder off, That's not a big problem as I'm used to engine strips. the problem is finding someone who's available to do the work after 6.
If u can, Email me at alex.wilson@gekodirect.co.uk as that's my work email! I email pretty much immediately as I'm in telesales with nothing to do lol ____________________ Riding: Yamaha RXS100
