It's fine, it does take its toll on chains, sprockets and brake pads though. Probably bearings as well.

If it is on a beach, then there will be plenty of salt/salt water there?? that isn't good for rust ... that also the sand will essentially be like sand blasting the whole bike (well, ALL is an exaggeration isn't it!! )... it will kill all bearings and C&S in short order ... it really is a nasty place as far as the bike is concerned I am afraid  ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |
