Fuel tube replacement

I am going to need to replace a small bore fuel line on my 1984 Honda Magna, due to a need to remove and repair the fuel tank.
The question is, do I need a replacement fuel tube of identical bore, or will one slightly larger or smaller be okay, providing the connection is tight ?
(As the existing tube is stuck fast at each end, it will need cutting off the nozzles which will destroy it, so not something I want to do until I have a replacement to hand if I can help it).

Go for one of the same or larger bore ... smaller bore could possible lead to fuel starvation Thumbs Up
