Anyone know if these are any good? Seems too good to be true, £40 for a front and rear stand delivered.

Probably shit quality (I know it says "High quality paddock stans" in the listing), but seems quite a good offer.

Usually cost about £35-£40 for 1.

Thumbs Up

For the money they are great, I have a pair, my boss has a pair and my mate has a pair.
They held up a hayabusa perfectly but they do rust quickly. Nothing a coat of hammerite wont cure.

im not sure as that swingarm is curved, might be best if possible to fit some paddock stand bobbins on the rear and find a paddock that has hooks

or buy an abba stand, cost more but they look really good for getting the rear of your bike off the ground, i want one

I've got a cheap rear similar to that and it's not too bad once I welded up the joins, but was a bit wobbly before.

Look a bit like mine.

Its easy to knock off a circlip that holds the wheels on, but otherwise ok.

Can't beat an Abba stand tbh. Superb quality and very, very easy to use...

More hassle day to day and you still have to weight the rear for doing stuff to the front - so I'd say you can beat it Razz.

However, for occasional use it does mean you can do everything bar the swingarm pretty much - so take the forks etc off fine.

If the rear spindle is hollow you could slide a bar in, cut a thread/tap each end and stick bobbins on that - only needs to be on there when you need to lift it then Mr. Green

I bought that set about 5 months ago and they are fine.
They lift my gt650 without issue, stable, no wobbles etc. and also manages my bosses fjr1300 without any complaint.

Which having had his FJR fall on me last week i can confirm weighs something similar to a bus Confused

So IMO, tis a good buy Thumbs Up

I got that very set. I paid 30 quid for the pair from Busters
-they immediately disappeared from sale and re-appear later at 50quid.

The rear brackets are un-braced right-angle section that would not be strong enough to lift the bike when it is leaning on the side-stand, but if you hold the bike upright they lift and hold the bike fine.

I use the rear one weekly for chain lubing.
