Right i have fitted a akrapovic slip on and a custom exhaust downpipes. I have also fitted a K&N filter and a PCIII. Thing is there isnt a map for my exhaust set up as there custom downpipes off ebay.
These are them
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/R6-EXHAUST-RACE-HEADERS-2006-2007-2008-2009-06-07-08-09_W0QQitemZ370362116571QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item563b4d69db
So im running Map M430 -512 which is "European-, Akrapovic full exhaust, Stock or aftermarket air filter, Dynojet O2 controller installed"
The bike pulls harder and feels fine, but on deaccelration there is poping and and does occanally back fire when shuting off throttle at high rpm. Sounds awsome!
But......... From that describtion will i be running too rich? or too lean? Its a big job to get to the plugs to check. and i havent been running like this long i doubt that will demtermin anything at this moment in time.
Hope you can help thanks! ____________________ Speedfight 50 -> Honda NSR 125 -> Y reg YAMAHA YZF R6 -> 08 YAMAHA YZF R6 -> Honda CBR1000RR

Popping on the over-run could be a leak at the headers, or if your bike has clean-air/PAIR/etc as standard, you didn't disable it when you fitted the pipes & Akky.
Even standard bikes pop a bit on the over-run just that the stock silencing means you don't hear it. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

Do a dyno run, then you'll know.
It should only cost between £30 and £40. ____________________ My Flickr |
