Hi,

Names Neuspeed and I'm new here. Just registered as I do need a little advice and thought this is a great place to ask for it!

I only have a slight problem but my knowledge about bikes isn't really up to scratch!

Anyway I had a fall on my Speedfight 2 100cc Moped, handle bars hit the ground, and now ever since the steering is stiff and very dodgy. There seems to be a scraping noise coming from what appears to be between the steering lock and the main coloum, when I turn the steering side to side..

Not sure if something like filing and realignment would do the trick, if so, how?

I would appreciate any help you can give, as It doesn't feel safe to ride! Smile

Headstock damage i reckon. The bearings or the cups they sit in . .
Take all your fairings off and look underneath where your handle bars go on your forks and look for obvious damage.
