If he inhaled even a small amount, he would get a lipid pneumonia which has a good chance of killing him.

It is easy to inhale because you can't feel when an oil is at the back of your throat.

Fill his boots with it instead is my advice.

Getting your mate to kill himself may be a bit extreme a reaction, but i guess it depends on how much you loved the CG.

A bit of reading online tells me this:
Do not breath it, and also don't let him throw it up after ingesting (because of what stinkwheel said).

He will shit like mad (most likely), and perhaps develop irritation/rashes. Used motor oil is one of those things that ACTUALLY causes cancer so that's another risk.

Some suggestion of nervous system damage etc but unconfirmed, especially from ingestion.

My oil says "mineral oil" on the bottle.... that means it will be ok right.... Laughing Laughing Rolling Eyes

A mate of mine drank a pint of olive oil for a bet. Obviously he did it drunk and woke up in the morning and shat nearly a pint of olive oil. He forgot all about it within a few days but then started getting stomach cramps and eventually had to go to the doctors where he was asked: "Have you drank or eaten anything strange in the last few days?"
Bet that made the doctors day! Laughing

I ate 50p a good few years ago when pissed at a Discharge gig. It was an old style large 50p. When I went to A&E a few days later cos I could feel it and it hadn't come out they didn't believe me.

So I drank a full bottle of syrup of figs which moved it and I thought I'd flushed it away, but it turned out at the bottom of the bowl, all black a few weeks later.

Cleaned it and gave it back to my mate, who'd been using it to scav for pints with the "only got 50p" blag.

The Japs forced some down that dudes throat in Fast & Furious and he lived (i think) so it MUST be safe.

If he dies you could always sue the producers. Win/win situation.

If I remember correctly (although I might not because it was a boring film), James Bond killed the main villain in Quantum of Solace by abandoning him in a desert with only engine oil to drink. Seemed to work, although, of course, it was only a film.

Yes I know someone would drink a pint of cooking oil just to get a reaction from everyone else - like make them throw up...
He said it worked like a mild laxative next morning

I remember a nature programme on TV in the Arctic - they had to secure engine oil so that polar bears couldn't get it as they had a liking for the stuff.

Since it isn't even good for skin and toxins can be absorbed that way from waste oil, it can't be sensible to ingest it where most of the crap will end up circulating round your body and lodge in your kidneys or something.
But a small amount isn't going to kill.

Might be that there is no oil there to drink.

All the best
