Double Bubble Screens

I had a search and found a few topics on this, but the one that was recommended on Ebay is no longer there. Do people who have them find that they make much of a difference? I don't really want to pay for the proper thing - what cheap (good) alternatives are available?

rather have one than not have one, dark screens look better that stock clear, they do offer more wind protection.

no idea on brands though as mine was 2nd hand off ebay, it got smashed so bought a flip up screen from powerbronze nowhere near as nice as a double bubble.

Put a skidmarx one on the 10R and it makes quite a difference. Had one on the 7R as well and that was good.

My CBR6f has a double bubble, at 110mph bolt upright I have only a reasonable amount of wind on me.

I've always had double bubbles on my bikes and they do a good job of deflecting wind onto your upper chest at speed. It takes the weight off my elbows and wrists. If you have a sportsbike, there's not really any cheaper alternatives. If you want long distance touring comfort, you'll be looking at a flip up touring screen but these cost the same as double bubbles anyway!

Skidmarx are reasonable but I needed to sand the edges down to make it fit my ZX6R properly since the screen was mounted atop the nosecone fairing and screwed from the top rather than from beneath it.
I think I've got an Airblade screen on the blade
FFabbri, MRA and Puig are the top makes though.

I don't know the brand I am afraid, it was on the bike when I got it...

Plenty of pics though; I tend to take photos whenever I do anything to it so it should be featured in many of them, maybe someone will be able to ID it?
