Since the only link on google that mentions a "boo way player" is this thread, you're probably out of luck.

Or is it an old black blues guitarist I've not heard of?

To play Bluray HD files (mkv files) I use VLC.

To rip and encode from Bluray discs you need to go and have a read of info at doom9.org

MakeMKV can backup blurays, managed to get all mine on (previously unbackupable Laughing due to encyrption stuff) MakeMKV does a grand job, easy, no encoding or anything, just a plain backup! Thumbs Up

I use XBMC for all my media, works a treat.

the standatrd Bluray files are M2TS, not MKV Wink Just that when ripping them most people convert to MKV if they're encoding to make them smaller.
