Initial thought;

In all seriousness though Brick Wall You always do this, we have to extract information from you slowly and painfully. Would it hurt to have a tiny blurb to go with it from the off?

I likes it.

Yo DAWG, we heard you like rust.
So we put some rust in your rustbucket
So you could drive around in a pile of rust
While you were driving around in a pile of rust.

Seriously, tho ... its really cool.
Be nice to NOT hot rod it, but not restore it, either.
Give it a bit of character.
But something different.
maybe bare nekid
EXAMPLE Cool

Am I the only one looking at that load bed and contemplating the size of engine ZRX61 usually puts spanners on? Now that would be a project and a half.

I thought that too. Didn't that truck have some kind of turbo/supercharger? Remember when he was chasing down people & you heard a lovely whistling noise. Cool

ZRX61 - It's amazing how something so old & rusty can look so good. I'd actually sort out the problems & keep the rust look. Laughing

What is it by the way? Looks like the old F150s.

Highly unlikely owing to the fact it doesn't have one.... It has a chassis which is arrow straight...

Plan is to get it running if possible.. failing that, drop a big fuck off V8 in it... I have a spare 7.5l one in the garage.

We'll just have to wait & see, I won't get it home for a couple more weeks or so....it's 200+ miles away right now... did a 460mile round trip to look at it yesterday & was back home before lunch Smile

It's a '43 Ford G8T US Army 1 1/2 tonner. Engine is a straight 6 flathead, 226ci.

Here's one full of Russians on the Eastern Front:
