1) Women in people carrier at junction looking straight at me coming along and still pulls out in front of me! = first emergency stop for real.

2) Filtering along A13 when driver in lane one moves out to block me and driver in lane two moves in to block me at same time!
= buttocks clench and handfull of brake.

3) Beckton roundabout pedboy shoots straight out a I'm coming around = emergency stop number two!

All in one day Confused have i upset someone upstairs or is the great god of biking just pissed???...loll

You just have to treat EVERYONE else on the road as a cunt, and be prepared for anything I'm afraid mate.

Well done for avoiding any incidents though, Thumbs Up.

I agree. Assume everyone's a numptie and expect the unexpected. I think a nice big thumper with a broken exhaust gives em enough forewarning that summat is coming their way, especially when filtering.

I see so many near misses and accidents on the A13/Beckton Roundabout it's unreal. Seen cars get rear ended on that roundabout, cars pull out of the lane they're in, right into flowing traffic which has to emergency stop... Saw a poor chap on a CG who was filtering in front of me nearly get taken out by a massive building site truck thing and saw the driver going nuts in his mirror as if the rider was at fault where it was actually him that pulled out when he shouldn't have... Typical East London driving where whole streets have one license between them. Evil or Very Mad

Fully agree with you Neil, once I'm on the home stretch of the A13 / Beckton my spidey sense go's in to over drive, I'm actually more relaxed riding through central London, I think the L's make people not count you and just assume that your going to slow them down when in reality your actually away a bit quicker and quite capable of keeping up with the traffic flow. Well I'll see if that changes after I lose them Very Happy Stay safe folks.

Today was one of those mad days. Everyone seemed a bit mental. You can go a month and barely have a near miss, then every blind/stupid halfwit seems to come along at the same time Shocked
